Making Math More Fun – Fun Math Games For Kids

One of the most valuable skills that children can develop is strategic thinking. This is the very reason why more and more teachers are integrating fun math games for kids in their lessons. These fun math games can help kids develop their ability to observe, absorb different pieces of information, analyze these pieces of information, plan and develop possible solutions, and choose appropriate actions.

While games like chess and backgammon are effective in developing strategic thinking, kids can easily find themselves bored with these board games. Fun math games for kids prove to be more appropriate methods of developing strategic thinking among young ones. These fun math games may be less complex but they help much in making kids think strategically.

Corners is an ideal math game for two players. Kids can easily learn this game and the time they need to spend playing this game is significantly shorter than the amount of time they would need to spend on playing chess or backgammon.

Netraheen Vikas Sansthan (Blind School Jodhpur-Rajasthan-India )is working for rehabilitation of blind students since last 31 years in Suncity Jodhpur by providing free education with boarding and lodging facility separately for boys and Girls. The School was started on 15th August 1977 with only two blind students the number of which has gone to 247 at present out of which 90 are girls.This is the only institute for girls with hostel facility in Rajasthan. The school is up to senior secondary level for blind. All the teachers many of whom are even blind also are well trained and highly qualified. The result of 10th and 12th Board exams have always been maintained at 100% since beginning of school. The Students of the school have been awarded several times Medals and Prizes not only at National, State and District level but also at International level in the field of various Education, Sports and Music competitions.
